Dominated by Ford and Citroen the 2011 WRC has a new entrant: the Mini. The new WRC car is built by Prodrive. It has permenent 4 wheel drive, a six speed sequential box and a 1.6 litre turbo charged engine.

Its been a long time since the sixties and the glory days of the Mini, but time will tell if the Mini is a winner.

Plans for the year are to run the car in few WRC championship rounds giving the car a shakedown for the 2012 WRC championship.
